Bid Manager
LIMA are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to cover maternity leave, on a part time basis, for a minimum period of 9 months.
As Bid Manager you will produce high-level compliant tenders and bids that clearly promote our value proposition to the customer. Collaborating closely with various internal LIMA stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing and Senior Management, our Bid Managers ensure that we are on-track with timescales, deadlines and budgets, by holding our resources accountable.
You will take responsibility for project planning, reviewing milestones, chairing kick off meetings, ensuring that LIMA have the tech portfolio to meet the needs of the customer whilst maintaining the LIMA strategy and vision.
Some of your responsibilities:
- Organise and lead bid meetings
- Allocate tasks across internal LIMA stakeholders and check in that these are being completed
- Manage bid qualification process, including the size, budget and timescale of the opportunity
- Project plan throughout the bid lifecycle with
- Produce compelling and competitive bids against rival bidders
- Maintain the LIMA bid library with updates and reports
- Complete win/loss reports
- Continuous improvement of the LIMA processes
- Collaborate and communicate with Sales throughout the bid lifecycle
Experienced required:
- 2-3 years of Bid Writing experience
- Experience working through all touchpoints of the bid process
- Highly organised
- Experience setting and managing timescales and deadlines
- Proven ability to successfully deliver high-quality writing and closing bids
- Strong attention to detail with writing and presentation, and a high appreciation for quality content
- Clear and concise communicator with the confidence to hold stakeholders accountable
