24/7 Support Engineers

( Night Shift - 4on, 4off)

One of the North West's leading Managed Service Providers based in Manchester are looking to hire a several 24/7 support Engineers to create a brand new team in the IT Service department.

About you

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be providing 24/7 support to a range of customers.
You will be the first point of technical escalation for support cases and contribute to investigating problems and providing root cause analysis.
You will also need to perform release management while working the night shift to minimise disruption to users.

How will it work?

You will complete a rotation of different 4 shifts for example –

4 x 7pm-7am shifts worked from home

4 x days off

4 x 7pm-7am shifts worked from home

4 x days off 


The technical requirements

  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V/VMware)

  • Citirx

  • Shared SAN storage (Nimble/NetApp/EMC/HP)

  • Servers (Cisco UCS/Dell/HP)

  • Networking (Cisco / HP / Nexus / Meraki)

  • Networking – FireWalls (Watchguard, Meraki, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)

  • SQL administration

  • Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  • Office 365

  • Exchange and AD Environments

  • Understanding of ITIL

  • Knowledge of Monitoring services (Logic Monitor)
