Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy is diverse, ranging from environmental initiatives to providing local employment opportunities and supporting local charities wherever possible.

We focus our work in three key areas


ISO 14001

LIMA is certified to ISO 14001 Environmental up to 15th September 2018. Protection of the environment in which we live and operate is part of LIMA's values and principles and we consider it to be sound business practice. 

Local Services

Our supply chain is based on a local supplier first criteria used to help reduce our carbon footprint. LIMA also sources local service providers for the maintenance of our operations and buildings.

Destroying of Secure Data

We take confidential data incredibly seriously, right down to its removal and destruction. We offer full data degaussing, data disintegration and data eradication with certification services.

Fully WEEE Compliant

LIMA is proud to be fully WEEE compliant, encouraging separate collection, re-use, recovery and responsible disposal of equipment to reduce the amount of electrical waste going to landfills.

Demonstrating our commitment to developing HR practices, LIMA has been awarded Level 1: Disability Confident Committed status by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Achievement status recognises LIMA’s inclusive and accessible practices when it comes to recruitment and the ongoing support provided for our employees.

LIMA Academy

We developed the LIMA Academy, our internal Learning Centre with 20 vendors and their accredited courses within it. Coupled with access to internationally recognised vocational courses, the LIMA Academy forms part of an ongoing appraised development tool for all staff. 

Quality Assured Apprenticeship Scheme

Designed to secure and nurture local talent, the Quality Assured Apprenticeship Scheme allows apprenticeship across seven levels from GCSE standard (Level 1) to MSc degree (Level 7).

Cycle to Work Scheme

To promote healthy living and reduce environmental pollution, LIMA employees can take advantage of the Government’s Cycle to Work scheme, just one of the many benefits of working at LIMA HQ. We really care about our people – find out more on our careers pages.


LIMA charities

LIMA is honoured to support several fantastic charities. How we help depends on their needs, though typically we try to participate in fundraising activities, hands-on volunteering support from our employees, and donations of IT equipment and expertise. LIMA also supports The Next Step Project, a Salford-based charity that supports young people who are leaving care to acquire the skills they need to live independently.
