Working as the lead member of the Infrastructure Team within Lima’s Service Desk, we are looking for a VMWare & Netapp certified professional who can provide 3rd line support, team leader guidance and escalation for service desk cases and who is skilled in investigating problems and providing root cause analysis, where required. You will have full accountability for Infrastructure support and its members, reporting to the Head of Service Desk.

You will already have in-depth specialist skills gained through extensive support experience, ideally within the MSP sector, you will know the importance of great customer service and adapting to changing priorities.


About you

  • Minimum of 2-3 years proven experience supporting the following Infrastructure solutions:
    • Converged Infrastructure solutions
    • Flexpod Infrastructure (NetApp CDOT / Cisco UCS)
    • HP/Cisco UCS servers (Proliant and Proliant Blades, Cisco B and C Series)
    • NetApp CDOT / All Flash FAS and E-Series Storage Systems
    • VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation solutions
    • Disaster Recovery solutions such as VMware SRM and Veeam
    • Highly available virtualisation platforms across multiple Datacentres
    • Storage replication and multisite storage deployments
  • Experience of working in an ITIL based technical environment
  • Consistent ability to appropriately escalate technical problems and issues
  • The ability to work in a dynamic environment with the capability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong commercial awareness within the context of service delivery with particular emphasis on consistently achieving deadlines and the impact of failing to do so
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Understanding of ITIL methodology.

  • NetApp Certified Data Administrator – CDOT (NCDA-CDOT)
  • VMware Certified Professional - VCP-DCV
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate - DataCentre (CCNA-DC)
  • Flexpod Implementation and Administration Specialist.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate - DataCentre (CCNA-DC)
  • VMware Certified Advanced Professional Virtualisation – Deployment (VCAP-DCV)
  • MCSA Cloud Platform
