Proud to support our local community

While we have all been enjoying the fabulous weather and a successfully growing business, it’s easy to forget that there are some not so fortunate as ourselves.

Supporting our local community has always been important to LIMA – from sponsoring a minibus for a local junior boxing club to providing our technical team to re-cable the Age UK Salford offices.

As another local charity close to our heart, the Keaton Emery Memorial Foundation, approaches its first anniversary, we have been pleased to hear from the trustees about the positive impact the combined donations from well-wishers is beginning to have.  The Trustees have donated £85,000 to the charity Centrepoint in Manchester with the specific aim of helping to fund the set-up of a mental health unit for homeless young people.

You can support the Keaton Emery Memorial Foundation by sponsoring a month of physical challenges to raise further funds to support good causes focused on the young people of Manchester.

The LIMA team are also busy fundraising themselves:

We have a team of taking on the Tough Mudder course at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire in September.  Our brave volunteers will be running, jumping, climbing, crawling, swinging  and more to get themselves around the course in the name of Papyrus and Age UK.  You can sponsor the team here

We also have a very determined Ralph Hollingworth continuing on his quest to lose 100lb by the end of the year.  Read more about Ralph’s challenge here and support him in raising money for Papyrus.
