LIMA appointed to fast-track Speed Medical’s digital strategy

Speed Medical, the UK’s leading independent provider of medical assessments and treatment solutions, has appointed LIMA on a three-year contract to support the development of its IT strategy.

Speed Medical provides medical assessments, treatment and reports for customers in the insurance, legal, corporate, occupational health and healthcare markets.

 As Speed Medical’s newly-appointed managed service provider, LIMA is set to deliver a broad portfolio of services including its core managed support service, End User Support, Backup and Disaster Recovery as a Service, Vulnerability Detection and Remediation, and Managed SOC.

Speed Medical ran an incredibly comprehensive tender process to identify LIMA as its preferred supplier. Speed Medical was seeking a mature service provider with robust structure, operational processes, governance and frameworks in place to successfully deliver on its requirements.

Organisations are increasingly asking prospective managed IT partners to evidence their delivery methodology during tender processes, looking for proof of not just what they deliver, but how they deliver it.
