As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of various IT infrastructure projects to LIMA customers ensuring that project scope, time, budget and quality expectations are defined and met. Forming part of the technical solutions team which strives to maintain start to finish excellence and integrity of the solutions, the role requires proven experience managing IT Infrastructure and technology oriented projects according to PRINCE2 project management methodology.


About you

  • Broadly skilled in information and communications technology

  • Working Knowledge and familiarity with ITIL Service Management.

  • Proven and demonstrable experience of project delivery in a managed service environment or similar commercial environment

  • Strong knowledge of change management, risk management, setting up and initiating projects

  • Proven experience producing quality project management documentation including, PID, highlight reports, resource planning, risk logs, change logs, issue logs and highlight reports

  • Technical background within IT infrastructure so a good understanding of technologies

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Good team player and team leader

    Must have

  • Required minimum accreditation:

    • PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification

About the role

  • Managing projects in accordance PRINCE2 project management methodology.

  • Creation and management of project documentation including PID, quality, change management, Scope of works, RAID log and Highlight reports.

  • Ensuring all work is properly scoped, planned, costed and risks/issues identified and resolved or mitigated in advance.

  • Produce and maintain a risk and issue register with respect to delivery of the overall schedule, identifying and tracking associated actions.

  • Manage internal and 3rd party resources and resource scheduling on and off site to maximise their contribution, including external sub-contractors.

  • Manages the change control procedure and ensure that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets before sign off.

  • Ensure Project Gateway Reviews and key Project milestones are identified, planned and held effectively and in accordance with quality process to assure Project delivery

  • Chair project Checkpoint/Progress Meetings, produce subsequent minutes and progress actions

  • Support and contribute to Process Improvements and ensure all activities are performed in accordance with the relevant company processes and agreed project quality standards.

  • Produce regular Project Progress Reports covering key work completed and upcoming, critical risks and issues.
