As a part of the local community here in Salford and Manchester, we believe that you can never do 'too much' and that there are always improvements that can be made to help benefit our community and the people who live in it.
Each year we support employee nominated charities through a variety of activities and events. In 2019 our chosen charities were MIND and the British Heart Foundation; raising over £2000 for them. We were also extremely proud to provide the local Bridgewater Amateur Boxing Club with a minibus to get its budding boxers on the road to train and compete across the country.
In addition to our nominated charities we support the following national charity events.
The Big Lunch Box - We donated 1000 Subway lunches and 30-man hours over the lockdown period to deliver a healthy and much appreciated meal to many amazing NHS key workers in the North West.
Having supported AgeUK Salford, Bradford and Leeds for many years, we’re considered part of their ‘team’. In their Swinton community space, we volunteered our time & equipment; installing voice and data services, end-user equipment, and WiFi for their IT suite. Most rewarding was learning that the weekly beginner IT training we provided was regularly oversubscribed. We also held an auction and raffle on their behalf which raised over £1200, funding the repainting of the entire premises.
Alongside these charities we’re passionate about supporting our local community. Over winter and Christmas, we’ve donated non-perishable items, toys, essential toiletries, warm clothes, food, drink and gifts to the local charities below which primarily support young people, families, homeless and vulnerable people.Back to News & Events
Each year we review and focus our initiatives with charities that we feel are most aligned with our values.
